Pu-Erh tea, which is fermented and rich in earthy flavour, has baffled many tea drinkers for centuries. This tea will improve with age because the leaf will slowly oxidize more over time. Pu-erh teas are sold in the form of bricks and whole leaves.
Use 1½ tsp of tea per 235mL of hot water (90°C) and steep for 1 to 5 minutes.
This top grade tea comes from the Yunnan Province of China. Because it has been extra aged, it taste is likely spicy-earthy.
